We\’re on the lookout for a talented and ambitious Audit & Accounts Senior to join a fast-growing, modern accountancy firm in Exeter. This is your chance to step into a role where you’ll be challenged, supported, and genuinely excited about where your career is heading.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone AAT qualified or actively studying ACA/ACCA, with 2 4 years of practice experience under their belt. Whether you’ve already gained audit experience or are looking to build it, this role offers the variety, support, and autonomy to help you grow professionally, without the burnout.

As a key team player, you’ll work closely with the firm’s partners and managers and have the chance to shape your own path within a growing business that believes in people, not just numbers.
The responsibilities:
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Getting involved in audits from planning to completion (with training if needed)
- Building lasting relationships with a wide range of SME and OMB clients
The Ideal Candidate:
- AAT qualified or studying ACA/ACCA
- 2–4 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice
- Experience handling both accounts and tax work
