Konker is recruiting for an Architect to join a highly regarded RIBA practice based in Newport, with a specific focus on healthcare projects. This practice has 120 employees across three UK offices and is now looking to expand its Healthcare team. You will be joining a well-established Newport team of 30 professionals in a modern, open-plan space recently renovated by the practice's in-house interiors team. The office is easily accessible, within walking distance of the train station.
We are looking for someone with practical experience in the healthcare sector, from hospitals and health centres to specialist treatment facilities. You will be delivering projects from early concept through planning and technical stages, often collaborating with NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers.
To Be Considered:
- Project running Architect with experience across all stages
- Previous experience in healthcare projects is desirable but not essential
- Revit proficiency is essential
- Strong design skills and attention to technical detail
- Knowledge of NBS Chorus
- Confident communicator with clients and wider project teams
- Ambition to grow within a supportive, well-structured practice
Salary: from Β£37K to Β£46K DOE.
