Want to step into a senior seat where you’ll lead the technical delivery on multi-million pound residential and mixed-use projects - without being stuck on the same scheme for years? This is a role in a central London studio (South Bank / Waterloo area) within an AJ100 architecture practice. Big enough to give you support and progression, small enough that you’ll know people and get exposure across multiple live projects. The studio also had its best-ever year in 2025, so if your current place has slowed down, this is a good time to move.
The role involves taking a key role from RIBA Stage 4 onwards, driving projects through technical design, coordination, and site delivery. You’ll be the person people rely on for drawing packages, detailing, and keeping everything aligned with consultants and contractors. Expect Revit-heavy work, with real ownership and influence on outcomes. You’ll confidently lead the technical side of medium to large-scale projects (residential and mixed-use projects are ideal), and you’ll be comfortable setting the standard for production and coordination.
- Strong Revit knowledge (essential)
- Confident in producing full working drawing packages (plans, sections, elevations, schedules, details)
- Comfortable coordinating with consultants across a full drawing package
- Strong knowledge of Building Regs
- Experience on projects around £5m and through RIBA Stages 4–6
- Able to lead with initiative while working autonomously when needed
- CIAT-friendly
This isn’t an “architects only” environment. It’s technologist-friendly, with CIAT routes recognised and supported, and senior technologists already in the team.
Location: Central London, close to the South Bank. You’ll be within walking distance of Waterloo, Blackfriars and London Bridge, plus Southwark and Borough tube stations. Alongside a competitive salary, the studio supports people properly with benefits and professional development. There are clear routes for progression as this studio grows into 2026 and beyond.
