Are you an experienced Civil Tendering Engineer with a background in infrastructure or utilities, looking to join a leading HV engineering company working on major power projects across the UK?
This rapidly expanding organisation has doubled in size over the past two years and is continuing to grow its presence across high-voltage power and infrastructure projects. With delivery capability across major schemes up to 132kV, they are becoming a recognised and trusted name in the industry.
The Senior Civil Tendering Engineer will lead the preparation of tenders for civil engineering elements of HV power projects, including substation builds, cable routes, ducting, foundations, drainage, and associated infrastructure works, with project values up to £10–15m+.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing tender opportunities
- Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil scopes
- Coordinating with electrical, design, and project delivery teams to ensure fully integrated proposals
- Managing the tender process through to handover
- Supporting client engagement
- Maintaining tender documentation
- Ensuring compliance with HSQE standards
The role also involves close collaboration with Business Development, Design Engineers, and Project Managers, as well as mentoring junior team members, ensuring successful delivery of tenders for both new and existing clients.
