We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with proven Building Services Design experience to join a growing team near Portsmouth. This role involves working on MOD, education, residential, retail, and healthcare projects.
This young and growing team is an outgoing and passionate group of individuals, with a high percentage of their work in the MOD sector. You will be required to go through security clearance for the MOD side of their work, which will give you access to a wide range of different buildings and types of engineering within the sector.
Due to a mass update of MOD buildings, this business is the chosen consultancy, providing the opportunity to work with a huge range of Renewable Emerging Technologies, such as Hydrogen Systems, Air Source, Heat Source pumps, upgrading Electrical PV systems, and much more.
This practice is family-run and has 25 people working for them. As an inclusive company with low staff turnover, you will be part of the projects team (made up of 15 engineers and building surveyors) who provide businesses with net zero carbon targets. The overall team of 25 individuals offers Architectural, Sustainability, and Surveying services across the south of England, with more services being slowly added.
The company offers flexibility and hybrid working, with the expectation that this individual will be in the office more often than not to start off with. They provide a full range of professional property services across Southern England, including surveying, mechanical and electrical engineering, and architecture.
What can they offer the successful Senior Mechanical Engineer?
- A young and dynamic group of individuals.
- Using AutoCAD and Revit.
- A growing business hoping to double in size over the next 2 years.
- Progression and support with career development.
- The chance to work on a huge range of projects.
- Renewable emerging technologies exposure, rather than the usual HVAC systems.
- Flexible hybrid working for more experienced individuals.
- Yearly company and individual performance bonus, alongside a competitive salary.
