Konker is working with an award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking for a mid-level Architectural Technician to join their team in Maidstone. This isn’t a role where you’ll be stuck in silo, you will be a vital part of a multidisciplinary chain, working alongside Architects, Surveyors, Engineers and Project Managers. They have a diverse portfolio of projects - from complex education projects to high-stakes fire remediation to large-scale public and private sector projects. To begin with, this role will be focused on fire remediation projects.
About the role:
- Lead on detailed technical design packages and construction drawings
- Navigate the complexities of the Building Safety Act and most recent Building Regulations
- Lead on-site technical issues, ensuring design intent becomes reality
- Work alongside multidisciplinary teams
- Work on high stakes fire remediation projects
About you:
- Strong, proven experience using Revit in practice
- Working knowledge of working drawings, building regulations, and construction information
- Have or want to work towards CIAT accreditation
- Enjoy collaboration and problem solving
- Previous experience in a multidisciplinary consultancy is desirable
