Konker is on the lookout for an Architectural Technician to join a collaborative practice that brings a broad range of experience delivering projects across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. You will have the opportunity to contribute to projects across a wide range of RIBA stages. You will be part of a committed team that supports emerging talent. The bulk of their projects is in the Education sector, ranging from early years to higher education and SEND provision, however they also deliver projects in the commercial sector for both private and public clients.
This role offers some great benefits such as hybrid working arrangements, funded professional fees, 25 days holiday + bank holidays and access to Professional Qualifications & further education.
The role:
- Contribute to technical outputs across multiple project stages.
- Deliver high quality specifications, technical drawings and construction information.
- Prepare and submit Planning and Building Control applications.
About you:
- Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction methods and the Building Safety Act.
- Ability to work within a team and contribute positively.
- Demonstrate the ability to produce technical drawings on both existing and new-build projects.
- Proven experience using Revit (essential).
- Experience using NBS Chorus (desirable).
