About the company:
This building services specific consultancy has been operating around the Southwest for the last 30+ years and is now looking to grow their Engineering division with an experienced engineer who may be looking for the next step. Due to workload and their ambitious plans, they are looking for an Associate level Sustainability Engineer with sound building physics engineering experience to join their friendly and already successful team.
The successful candidate will ideally be a level 5 low carbon consultant able to operate independently on their own projects, as well as being able to guide a small team. Operating on all sides of building services design – mechanical, electrical, sustainability, BIM and public health, this consultancy is a strong team of around 12 individuals. They are a medium sized practice who work in a huge range of sectors such as education, hospitals, residential and retail.
They’ve previously worked on the largest passivehaus school in the country and have projects in sectors like stadiums, student accommodation and healthcare, with values up in the 100 millions. They are a sociable team of individuals and are now looking for a similar personality to join, ideally someone who can use Revit with experience leading their own projects in a similar position. Being able to mentor more junior engineers would also be a big positive with experience managing smaller teams.

- Proven experience working within Building Physics & sustainability engineering sector as an Associate or higher
- A good understanding and experience using the relevant software packages such as IES and Revit
