BAM UK & Ireland's Infrastructure segment are looking to recruit a friendly and polite Receptionist for our Finstown office. You will ensure efficient day to day running of the office along with supporting managers and employees through a variety of tasks ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Location: Finstown, Orkney, Scotland
Contract: 12-month fixed term, 42.5 hours a week or Part Time option also.
As a Receptionist, you will initially be responsible for the following:- Be the first point of contact for our project office in Finstown.
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Maintain office security by arranging and allocating access passes to full time staff and monitoring visitors to the office.
- Onboarding for induction through M-Site, managing access and updated records and filing of any paperwork records.
- Update notice boards, comms screens with relevant information.
- Management of meeting room booking system.
- Ensure meeting rooms are kept tidy and presentable.
- Support project teams and support staff with travel and accommodation bookings.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, minutes.
- Any other administrative duties as required.
- General administration experience with good IT skills (proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Word, Excel).
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisation with strong attention to detail ensuring records are maintained.
- Ability to prioritise effectively.
- Enthusiastic and out-going personality.
- Good interpersonal skills - must be a team player.
- Able to have a full-time presence in the Peterhead office.
- Previous Front of House and Office administration Experience would be desirable.
