Building a sustainable tomorrow. At BAM, we are looking to recruit a Digital Project Solutions Project Lead to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving digital transformation across our energy projects, enabling more efficient solutions that support our strategic ambitions.

Your team is based in Wellingborough with a hybrid working model.

Making Possible
  • Ability to manage pipeline and workload to deliver the appropriate service to meet customer needs.
  • Liaise with DPS Digital Engineering & Production, and DPS Support to agree and deliver appropriate resource and service to projects/contracts.
  • Knowledge of client and business requirements and expectations ensuring that the appropriate plans, specifications, reviews and controls are in place.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities for process improvement through implementation of digital tools.
  • Aware of the importance of keeping abreast of digital technological advances and monitor industry developments.
  • Maintain high safety, environmental, and quality standards in accordance with company policies and report any non-compliance.
  • Contribute and support the implementation of the DPS digital strategy.
Information Management
  • Experience in coordinating the delivery of the Project and/or Asset Information Model(s), as specified in the Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs) and BAM’s ISO 19650 protocol.
  • Some experience, as an Appointed Party, to support the development of the Appointing Party’s ISO 19650 protocol and associated deliverables.
  • Able to establish and implement systems for the management, sharing and storage of information, according to required security protocols, throughout the project/contract lifecycle, including archiving and disposal.
Stakeholder Management
  • Previously worked with project/contract team, clients/employers and stakeholders, in order that SO 19650 protocol and delivery plan are achieved.
  • Develop working relationships to support internal commercial, legal and procurement functions to ensure that the supply chain achieves BAM's ISO 19650 protocol.
  • Collaborate with wider DPS and IT resources for the setup, integration, testing, training and support of digital systems, ensuring that data integrity is maintained.
  • Ensure that digital systems and working methods are fit for purpose and efficient for the relevant stage of the project/asset lifecycle.
Communication
  • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Prepare and provide reports, analysis and forecasting as required.
  • Understand the importance of working with commercial and legal teams to ensure that Information Requirements, Standards, Methods, and Procedures are bound into agreements and contracts.
  • Develop working relationships to allow coordination with different disciplines and members for yearly ISO 19650 audits.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are compliant with BAM's ISO 19650 protocol and procedures and address any non-compliance.
  • Contribute to the development of the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP).
  • Developing experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining the project/contract ISO 19650 protocol, and associated deliverables, to ensure project goals and EIRs are met.
  • Establish and manage a meeting schedule for the project/contract ISO 19650 protocol review, aligned with the project programme/MIDP.
  • Identify the alignment with security protocols (as required) for the project/contract information and ensure it is exchanged and stored in the appropriate manner.
  • Working knowledge and developing experience at managing the Common Data Environment (CDE) and facilitate training and support all the involved stakeholders in the usage of CDE as required.
  • Liaise with wider DPS to agree and deliver appropriate resource and service to projects/contracts.

Educational Background:
  • Higher Education in Construction or related fields.
  • 1-2 years’ experience working on construction projects in digital domain.
  • Knowledge of BIM coordination process is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Required a satisfactory level of technical competency relating to construction project technology, focused specifically on 3D modelling and one or more of the below:
  • 2D/3D Information Production
  • 2D/3D Information Coordination
  • Visualisation
  • Planning & Scheduling
  • Commercial BIM for Sustainability
  • BIM for FM Operations (digital twins & AIMs)
  • MMC and DFMA
