Location: We offer Choice-Based Working, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. You'll also have access to our Konica Minolta and Regus offices nationwide, with occasional travel as the business requires.

As our next Procurement Lead, you'll play a key role in driving cost-effective, high-performance sourcing while ensuring supplier partnerships meet the highest environmental, social, and governance standards. You will lead strategic procurement initiatives, optimize supplier relationships, and influence cross-functional teams to embed sustainable practices across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Contract Management & Supplier Governance: Ensure all key suppliers have appropriate Konica Minolta contracts, contracts are commercially reviewed at least annually and maintain a clear contract lifecycle plan. Ensure execution of contractual actions in line with business requirements and SLAs.
- Procurement Operating Model Review: Assess KM's procurement approach and recommend the optimal model—supported by best-practice improvements and safeguards.
- Annual Supplier Risk, Performance & Opportunity Reviews: Lead annual reviews of key suppliers to evaluate risks, opportunities, ESG performance, commercial and service delivery. Develop targeted improvement or mitigation plans or audits with stakeholders.
- Supplier Benchmarking: Annually benchmark the top ten suppliers on competitiveness, quality (including technical quality, alignment and security standards), and sustainability. Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Sourcing, Tendering & Negotiation: Direct major sourcing activities, tenders, and negotiations to meet cost, quality, risk, and sustainability goals, ensuring robust stakeholder evaluations.
- Savings Delivery & Spend Control: Achieve measurable savings and strengthen spend governance to align with financial targets.
- Cross-Company Buying Support & Governance: Provide guidance and tools for consistent procurement across departments. Support managers and enforce compliance with procurement policies and reduction of risk.
- Supplier Management & Sustainable Procurement Leadership: Lead supplier performance and risk management. Promote sustainable procurement, update policies and documentation regularly, and chair Buyers Forums to drive improvement and knowledge sharing.
