The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Location: We offer Choice-Based Working, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. You'll also have access to our Konica Minolta and Regus offices nationwide, with occasional travel as the business requires.

At Konica Minolta, we're leading the way in empowering leaders with the insight, capability and guidance they need to create positive employee experiences and manage people confidently and consistently. As our next People Advisor, you will take proactive ownership of people policies and procedures, partnering with stakeholders to ensure effective and consistent application. You will assess leadership capability and people processes to mitigate employee relations risk and improve employee experience, while coaching and upskilling leaders to manage employee needs confidently and proactively.

Key responsibilities

  • Regularly review, update and enhance people policies and processes to ensure they appropriately reflect our people management culture, enhance employee experience, promote fairness and consistency, and are legally compliant.
  • Proactively working with the business to provide effective, accurate and timely professional HR advice and support to key stakeholders/leaders, ensuring guidance is in line with employment law and best practice. This relates to performance management, absence management, welfare and employee relations cases.
  • Supporting the embedding and evolution of the company-wide performance review process (Performance Growth) including monitoring and assessing the distribution of performance ratings, the fairness of application and lead the delivery of webinars to upskill leaders.
  • Coaching and building capability in line managers to manage the employment relationship effectively and guiding managers on company policies and procedures as required, through 121 coaching and guidance, running webinars and/or drop-in surgeries as appropriate.
  • Build strong professional effective relationships with key stakeholders with regular professional liaison and establish self as a credible advisor.
  • Supporting and guiding leaders with end-to-end case management for all employee relation cases including grievance and disciplinary hearings, probations, capability/performance management, ill-health, absence management ensuring appropriate application of employment law consideration and approach and timely closure of such cases.
  • Coordinating and leading in case reviews with the People Partners, identifying key themes for improvement, identification of issues and trends within the business and agreeing actions to improve.
  • Leading the people process activities and providing support for change initiatives, including acquisitions, restructures, redundancies, TUPE, redeployment and office closures.
  • Case management - Maintaining up to date case records and notes to ensure employee support is offered, tracked and recorded appropriately. Ensuring all advice given promotes a positive ER culture/employee experience, whilst minimizing risk. Ensure all evidence and advice is collated and documented, to enable business leaders to make informed and fair decisions, and business case and rationale for decisions are clearly defined and documented.
  • Manage Employment Tribunal claims/ ACAS – assess risk of claims, provide recommendations to People Partners/P&C Leadership for approach to claims, review case management files, prepare documents and case management files as required by Company Solicitor, liaising with ACAS and guiding/supporting Leaders.

We'd Love to Hear from You If You:

  • Experience of advising leaders of people policies, risk mitigation and gathering data to make informed and fair decisions
  • Ability to reduce complexity through interpreting rules/regulations and turning this into practical guidance and communicating this to leaders
  • Excellent communication skills, an organised approach to your workload and a high attention to detail
  • Experience of running companywide performance management/bonus processes
  • Qualified CIPD (preferred)
  • Experience of gathering, drawing insights from people related data/information and connecting this with business operations to drive change/improvement
  • Proven track record of effective stakeholder management
  • Commitment and ownership of individual continuous professional development
