Role: Assistant IT Specialist – Local Infrastructure Delivery

Location: This role is based in the Basildon Office. This is a very hands-on role and although you will be able to work from home on occasion, it\’s essential that you are able to work from the office up to 5 days per week.

We are seeking an Assistant IT Specialist to join our team at Konica Minolta!

As an Assistant IT Specialist at Konica Minolta, you will provide support to the Local Infrastructure Delivery team in the local country and wider European IT team, supporting colleagues onsite and remotely with key functions such as onboarding/offboarding new starters/leavers, IT purchasing and assigning of equipment as well as ensuring documentation is completed and kept up to date in accordance with audit requirements.

• Assign, Prioritise, Respond, and close helpdesk tickets within agreed Service Level Agreements

• Onboarding/Offboarding starters/leavers including account management.

• Ordering and maintaining stock levels of equipment and asset management

• Support mobile phones.

• Ensuring asset documentation is completed and maintained.

• Completing reports to ensure audit compliance.

• Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned

We would love to hear from people who have experience or knowledge of the following:

  • Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Endpoint and Active Directory
  • Experience of/knowledge for supporting Windows 10/11
  • Experience with remote support of users

The following is desirable, but not essential:

  • Experience with any IT Helpdesk solutions/ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation
  • Previous experience working with 1000+ computers
  • Used to working independently and as part of a Europe wide team
