Are you a hands‑on problem solver who loves being out in the field, meeting customers, and working with cutting‑edge electro‑mechanical technology? We’re expanding our Field Service team and are looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer to support our customers across the South of England. This is a varied, customer-facing role where no two days are the same. If you enjoy travel, autonomy, and helping customers get the best out of their equipment and software, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Installations & Training
- Install, configure, and test hardware and software solutions at customer sites
- Deliver hands‑on training for daily use, best practice, and maintenance
- Complete installation documentation and acceptance sign‑off
- Maintenance & Repairs
- Conduct pre‑installation and preventive maintenance visits
- Diagnose and repair equipment on site
- Collaborate with our First Line Support and Service teams for efficient case resolution
- Ensure timely return of spare parts and components
- Customer Experience
- Provide courteous, professional support during every visit
- Carry out follow‑up calls and courtesy visits to boost customer satisfaction
- Represent the company at regional trade shows
- Stay up to date with products, software, and diagnostics through training and self‑study
- Support colleagues across the region when needed

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics or mechanics, or equivalent field service experience
- Strong electro‑mechanical knowledge
- Comfortable working with software and demonstrating end‑to‑end workflows
- Business‑level English and excellent communication skills
- Customer‑Focused & Proactive
- Able to diagnose issues both remotely and on site
- Confident in explaining action plans and progress to users
