Reporting to the Finance Manager, we’re looking for a proactive and detail-drivenFinance Analystto join our team and play a key role in supporting commercial and financial operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple finance functions and wants to make a tangible impact in a collaborative environment.
What you will be doing
- Supporting commercial project forecasting and tracking actuals
- Managing intercompany forecasting, tracking, and accruals
- Leading monthly debtor meetings and monitoring bad debt exposure
- Assisting with forecasting and budgeting for both commercial and overhead areas
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and monthly journals
- Supporting inventory system processes and monthly central financial reporting
- Contributing to external audit preparation and delivery
We think you should have
- Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or qualified by experience (QBE)
- Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modelling
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Due to the nature of the work, the successful candidate will be required to undergoBaseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)checks as a condition of employment. Additionally, there may be a requirement to obtainSecurity Clearance (SC), depending on project involvement with the Ministry of Defence (MOD). Eligibility for SC typically requires five years’ continuous residency in the UK and the right to work in the UK.
