We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join us on a 12 month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will provide finance assistance and co-operate with internal customers to meet their needs and deadlines. If you have a keen eye for accuracy, strong organisational skills, and a passion for numbers, we’d love to hear from you.
What you will be doing
- Accounts Payable
- Logging, authorising and processing supplier invoices
- Payment of supplier and intercompany invoices, in monthly payment runs and ad-hoc payments as applicable
- Dealing with all aspects of relevant supplier disputes and queries
- Review of supplier statements
- Housekeeping of relevant suppliers on ledger
- Cash Management
- Processing monthly direct debits and standing orders
- Allocation and posting of cash receipts to sales ledger
- Monthly bank reconciliations (4 different currency bank accounts)
- Processing customer refunds
- Payments to sister companies of payments incorrectly received from customers
- Accounts Receivable
- Daily maintenance of Debtors Sheet
- Raising credit notes in both Dynamics AX and Insphire
- Credit control
- Housekeeping of sales ledger
- Travel expense management
- Processing of invoices received from Airplus & matching to CTM invoices
- Processing and payment of employee expense claims travel expense company card (Airplus)
- Other
- Manage relevant emails in KD Accounts in-box
- Month end close tasks related to AP and AR
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations related to AP and AR
We think you should have
- Minimum up to 1 year experience in Accounts role
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
