This is an exciting hybrid IC/Leader opportunity for Internal Kong applicants to build their path towards leadership.

As our SDR Team Leader, you will play the crucial role of optimising top-of-funnel activity. Your role will be to coach, mentor, and support SDRs in generating high-quality pipeline within our Kong ICP whilst also delivering success in your own SDR territory. You'll work closely with Sales Leaders, Marketing, Partners Operations and the SDR LT to ensure outbound efforts are aligned with our go-to-market strategy and deliver strong results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead driving a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous performance optimisation.
  • Drive in-person coaching and collaboration for the team.
  • Track and optimise daily/weekly/monthly metrics such as outreach volume, meetings booked, and conversion rates.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s within assigned remit of new hires and areas of underperformance.
  • Play a key role in team meetings, and performance reviews to ensure consistent development and team motivation.
  • Train SDRs on effective outbound techniques, messaging, and core SDR soft skills.
  • Provide real-time coaching on calls, emails, and outreach sequences.
  • Onboard new team members, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed quickly.
  • Analyse data to improve outreach effectiveness and streamline lead qualification.
  • Collaborate with XFOR teams to optimise and execute on campaigns.
  • Act as a key voice in aligning outbound efforts with the broader sales strategy.
  • Contribute to forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning efforts.
  • Contribute to SDR activities when not involved in management procedures and consistently execute against IC quota.
  • Build a brand for yourself within the Global SDR LT organisation and beyond.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience as a high-performing SDR.
  • Prior leadership experience highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of Kong Stage 1 to Stage 4 execution.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Must be in the London office at least 2 times a week.
  • A keen interest in developing and committing to a career in Leadership.
Eligibility Criteria:
  • An R6 of 100% average across Stage 3 and 4 Senior SDR profile and above.
  • Positive endorsement from current manager, RSDs and EMEA Sales VP.
  • SDR Core Competencies score of 80% minimum.
