We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Engagement Manager to join our Professional Services team. As the Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of our services, ensuring client satisfaction, and optimizing project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and a deep understanding of professional services in the IT industry. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to client engagement, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their professional services engagement, building and maintaining strong relationships; understand client needs, expectations, and strategic objectives to ensure alignment with service delivery.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of professional services projects; collaborate with project teams to define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints; identify and address resource gaps or challenges proactively.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality services; conduct regular project reviews to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to service delivery and develop proactive mitigation strategies; monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address any deviations from the plan.
  • Client Communication: Provide regular updates to clients on project status, milestones achieved, and any potential issues; manage client expectations and address concerns promptly to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery processes and methodologies; collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate best practices into project delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Engagement Manager or in a similar role within Professional Services.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard methodologies for professional services delivery.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges during project execution.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to convey complex API concepts to non-technical stakeholders is a plus.
