The Project Coordinator is a functional project support position overseeing site operations whilst supporting the Site Supervisor and Project Manager. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient running of the business. The main function of this role is to collaborate with the Project Manager and Site Supervisor on site-based operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to client specifications and quality.

Main Job Roles & Duties:

  • Supporting the Project Manager and Site Supervisor in planning and executing projects.
  • Dealing with quality on site and mindset with supervisors.
  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans.
  • Reporting any project changes from site, including variations by identifying and providing information to compile variations and following through to sign off, these need to be reported back to the Operations/QS Manager and Contracts Manager.
  • Organising, attending and participating in meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Collaborating with clients and internal teams to identify and define project requirements, scope and goals.
  • Document control as per site project requirements including submission of QA Docs i.e. BIM360.
  • H&S expectation whilst on site projects/training to be completed.

The above list is not exhaustive as you may be required to carry out additional duties to successfully execute your role as Project Coordinator.

Key skills and attributes:

  • Time management and well organised with the ability to plan and organise.
  • Efficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of BIM360 preferable but not necessary as full training will be provided.
  • NEBOSH General Cert but training will be provided if required.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of their duties and work as an individual or as part of a team.
  • Adequate knowledge of construction.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Irish Passport essential.

Salary: Competitive Salary, depending on experience.

Annual Leave: 20 days annual leave plus statutory public holidays. Please note that some of the annual leave is pre-allocated to cover the Christmas closure.

Work Hours: 40-45 hr working week, depending on site requirements.

Additional Information:

  • Place of work will be between office and site as and when required.
  • Rotation whilst working on site: 2 weeks on then a weekend off.
  • Confidentiality within the workplace.
  • Non-Compete Clause for 12 months.
  • Workplace Pension provided through Workers Pension Trust.
  • Life insurance cover for all current employees.
