Residential Property Development Lawyers

Konexo Legal Resourcing is receiving an increased demand for interim real estate lawyers who specialise in residential development projects to provide additional resource support to our in-house clients and the Eversheds Sutherland Real Estate Practice Group

What you should have:

  • At least 5+ years PQE.
  • Good experience of acting for housebuilders, land promoters, developers and landowners on residential development and residential investment projects.
  • Experience conducting due diligence and drafting title reports for development projects.
  • Experience of negotiating a wide range of legal documentation including conditional contracts, promotion and option agreements, collaboration agreements and development agreements.
  • Experience providing strategic legal advice on overcoming title issues, including liaising with landowners’ solicitors and insurers to secure indemnity policies.
  • Be able to work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including landowners, surveyors, and planning authorities, to facilitate smooth project progression.
  • Knowledge of the UK living sector with experience of the build to rent and affordable housing market would be advantageous, but is not essential.
  • Previous experience advising on ‘golden brick’ schemes and agreements is desirable, but not essential.
