Konexo Legal Resourcing is receiving an increased demand for interim lawyers to support our in-house clients, which include some of the largest FTSE100 companies. We are keen to speak to qualified lawyers who are consumer law specialists with experience in consumer protection law. This role is for an in-house consumer lawyer responsible for supporting strategic compliance across the organisation's products. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality legal advice on a range of initiatives, manage legal risk and ensure compliance with evolving legislation. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners is crucial. The position includes delivering pragmatic legal advice on consumer protection matters (including product design, customer journeys, T&Cs and marketing).

What you should have:

  • Experience in consumer protection law within an in-house or private practice environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and commercial advisory experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, troubleshoot and problem solve in a creative and innovative manner
  • Ability to manage a varied workload with minimal direction, with effective legal risk management and appropriate escalation of legal risk
