Consumer Credit Lawyer

Konexo Legal Resourcing is hiring for mid-level consumer credit lawyers to support our client.

What you should have:

  • The ability to take ownership as the Legal representative to assist UK and Canada Product and Engineering teams in developing innovative and compelling personal finance tools for consumers.
  • Experience in assisting Business Development and Partnerships teams with onboarding and handling business partners, their product offerings, and any integration or implementation needs.
  • Skills to assist creative, brand, and revenue marketing teams in developing marketing materials for a wide array of platforms, including reviewing marketing, advertising, financial promotions, and other communication materials for legal and regulatory issues.
  • Capability to engage in cross-functional projects with multiple colleagues to manage existing risks or proactively identify and mitigate upcoming risks.
  • Proficiency in assessing the business impact of new and evolving legal and regulatory requirements in the consumer financial products space.
  • Ability to educate internal teams in a simple, easy-to-understand way about regulatory issues as they relate to a wide range of products and features.
  • Talent for providing meaningful, business-savvy guidance that creatively solves legal and business issues.
  • Competence in making risk-based decisions on when and how to take smart risks to achieve the business’s goals.
