MISSION OF THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR team in the United Kingdom . In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing guidance on all aspects of people management, organizational development, and employee relations. You will be responsible for leading and implementing HR initiatives across the UK and supporting broader regions of English speaking markets.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of TUPE regulations, strong Employee Relations (ER) expertise, and proven experience in partnering with leadership teams to drive business success. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic HR Partnership: Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on HR matters to support business objectives and growth.
- Employee Relations Expertise: Lead and support complex employee relations cases, ensuring legal compliance, and managing conflict resolution across multiple regions. Guideline managers on best practices for managing performance and behaviour issues.
- TUPE : Take ownership of TUPE processes for the UK, ensuring legal compliance, smooth transitions, and communication between all stakeholders during business transfers.
- Talent Management & Development: Work closely with leadership and L&D teams to identify and address talent gaps, promote leadership development, and create succession plans that align with business goals.
- HR Process & Compliance: Ensure compliance with UK labour laws and international HR regulations while driving continuous improvements in HR processes and policies.
- Organizational Change Management: Lead organizational design and change initiatives, managing the people aspect of restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use HR data and analytics to influence decisions, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. CIPD or similar HR certification is desirable.
- Minimum of 9+ years of experience in HR Business Partnering, with a focus on senior-level advisory roles and employee relations. Previous experience in a Senior HRBP role is essential.
- Strong, practical understanding of TUPE regulations within the UK and experience leading TUPE transfers and integrations.
- Proven track record in managing complex Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, absence management, and performance issues.
- Solid understanding of HR practices and legislation within the UK. Experience working with or knowledge of the SA, US and India regions would be beneficial.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple regions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive HR matters while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
