MISSION OF THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated sales professional to join our Pierre et Vacances team. Pierre et Vacances offers holiday packages to European customers both online and over the phone. Suitable candidates will speak French and English to a fluent level. This role is primarily focused on driving sales – you will convert incoming enquiries into bookings by understanding customer needs, presenting the most appropriate holiday options, and confidently closing the sale. You will also be expected to cross‑sell and upsell additional services and extended stays to maximise revenue while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve individual and team sales targets by converting inbound calls into holiday bookings.
  • Conduct effective needs analysis to understand customer requirements and present tailored holiday packages.
  • Confidently close sales and maximise revenue through upselling additional products, services and extended stays.
  • Handle service requests and booking modifications, cancellations and confirmations in the Pierre et Vacances system.
  • Proactively follow up on leads and provide outbound cover during peak periods to generate new business.
  • Assist customers on live chat with enquiries about the product and website bookings, converting enquiries into sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and ensure compliance with company procedures and scripts.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluency in French and English is essential.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within a customer‑facing environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport quickly over the phone and online.
  • Ability to thrive in a high‑performance, target‑driven team culture.
  • Professional, emotionally resilient and results‑oriented.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to multitask across calls, systems and administrative work.
  • Dedicated to surprising and delighting customers on every interaction.
  • Experience in travel, tourism or hospitality sectors.
  • Excellent understanding of call centre practices and KPIs.
