We are recruiting an Industrial Door Service Technician to join our field-based team in the southeast of the UK. The purpose of this role is to install, service and maintain industrial doors and docking equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • You will perform installation, preventive maintenance and repairs of Industrial Doors.
  • Trouble-shooting equipment breakdowns.
  • Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues.
  • Complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device.

This role reports into the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Apprentice-trained / time-served / fitters mate route or equivalent (i.e. electrically NVQ level 3) in a maintenance or installation-related field.
  • Basic electrical knowledge essential.
  • DHF or similar qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of hydraulics preferred but not essential.
  • Experienced within the industrial door or related industry such as traffic gates/barriers.
  • Ability to work at height.
  • IT literate.
  • UK drivers licence essential.
