We are recruiting an Industrial Door Service Technician to join our field-based team in the southeast of the UK. The purpose of this role is to install, service and maintain industrial doors and docking equipment.
Responsibilities:
- You will perform installation, preventive maintenance and repairs of Industrial Doors.
- Trouble-shooting equipment breakdowns.
- Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues.
- Complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device.
This role reports into the Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
- Apprentice-trained / time-served / fitters mate route or equivalent (i.e. electrically NVQ level 3) in a maintenance or installation-related field.
- Basic electrical knowledge essential.
- DHF or similar qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge and/or experience of hydraulics preferred but not essential.
- Experienced within the industrial door or related industry such as traffic gates/barriers.
- Ability to work at height.
- IT literate.
- UK drivers licence essential.
