We are recruiting a Project Technician to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis based in the south of the UK.
Responsibilities- Deliver site-based projects in a hands-on capacity.
- Conduct project related tasks independently and support the Project Manager in daily tasks, taking responsibility in their absence.
- Lead sub-projects under the supervision of the Project Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of Safety Documentation (SSOW, SSA, RAMS, Lift Planning); training to be provided as required.
- Ensure the site team has all necessary resources to enable the project to be carried out successfully.
- Meet with the project team (Technicians & Field Supervisors), ensuring that each team member understands their responsibilities and accountabilities.
- Manage vendor relationships, relaying information between the project management and client.
- Coordinate queries and escalates points of concern to appropriate stakeholders, monitoring resolution and updating all involved.
- Carry out day-to-day project coordination activities, analyse and improve current ways of working where possible.
- Electrically or mechanically qualified.
- Involvement in engineering projects.
- IOSH qualified (preferred).
- Must be willing and able to travel (sometimes stay overnight) throughout the south of the UK when required.
- IT skills such as MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and adapt if problems occur.
