Are you a qualified finance professional looking for a broad leadership role with responsibility for both financial performance and working capital management? We are seeking a Finance Manager to support our UK & Ireland Service business. Working closely with the Business Controller, you will act as the finance lead for our branch network, partnering with Branch Managers to drive performance through insightful reporting, forecasting, planning and commercial challenge, while ensuring strong financial control and governance. Alongside this, you will lead the Accounts Receivable function across our UK and Ireland entities, managing a team of four and driving the continuous improvement of cash collection, credit risk management and working capital performance. This is more than a traditional Credit Management role. We are looking for someone who can bring fresh thinking, challenge established processes and help shape the future direction of the function through new ideas, stronger controls and a focus on delivering measurable results. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the confidence to influence, challenge and drive change across both finance and operational teams. What You'll Be Doing Financial Management & Business Partnering Act as the finance lead for a portfolio of branches across the UK & Ireland Manage key month-end reporting activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals and financial controls Prepare and present monthly management accounts and performance reporting Lead branch P&L reviews, providing insight, challenge and support to operational leaders Drive forecasting, budgeting and annual planning processes at an operational level Analyse branch profitability, productivity and utilisation to identify improvement opportunities Develop and maintain KPI reporting and Power BI dashboards Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company controls and policies Accounts Receivable & Working Capital Leadership Lead the Accounts Receivable function across the UK and Ireland, managing a team of four Drive improvements in cash collection, debtor management and working capital performance Bring fresh ideas and best practice to enhance AR processes, controls and customer payment behaviours Own and maintain the annual Credit Policy, ensuring alignment with local and Group requirements Approve customer credit limits and payment terms within delegated authority levels Manage complex customer disputes, escalations and credit risk matters Deliver cash collection and working capital forecasting Track and report key AR performance metrics while developing a high-performing Credit Control team What We're Looking For Fully qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in finance, management accounting or financial control Experience leading and developing teams Strong commercial and business partnering skills with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders Experience of forecasting, budgeting, month-end reporting and financial analysis Knowledge of Accounts Receivable, credit management and working capital processes Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools SAP 4/Hana experience desirable Willingness to travel periodically across the UK & Ireland What We Offer Konecranes is committed to supporting the professional growth and development of all employees.
