We are recruiting an Industrial Door Service Technician to join our field-based team in the southeast of the UK. The purpose of this role is to install, service and maintain industrial doors and docking equipment. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Performing installation, preventative maintenance and repairs of Industrial Doors
- Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns
- Consulting with customers on repair and safety related issues
- Completing appropriate documentation through your mobile device
This role reports into the Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
- Apprentice-trained/time-served/fitters mate route or equivalent (i.e., electrically NVQ level 3) in a maintenance or installation-related field
- Basic electrical knowledge – essential
- DHF or similar qualification is preferred, but not essential
- Knowledge and/or experience of hydraulics – preferred but not essential
- Experience within the industrial door or related industry, such as traffic gates/barriers
- Ability to work at height
- IT literate
- UK driver’s licence – essential
