The Role
We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join our team supporting a high-profile customer site at Citi Group Tower. This is a critical, customer-facing role, ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of lift and escalator equipment within a demanding commercial environment. You will work a rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, covering both days and nights, delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships with the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on lifts and associated equipment
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and call-outs, ensuring minimal downtime
- Diagnose faults efficiently and carry out repairs safely and effectively
- Ensure all work is completed in line with KONE safety processes and site procedures
- Maintain accurate service documentation using digital tools
- Build strong working relationships with the customer and on-site stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement and high performance standards on site
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering
- Proven experience working as a Service or Maintenance Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently on a critical, high-profile site
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts
