Role Overview: As a Senior Project Manager, you will be the main interface with all key stakeholders during Lift Installation projects. You will coordinate activities to ensure project objectives are achieved within the scheduled time and budget, utilizing approved KONE methodologies and tools. You will maintain daily contact with clients, subcontractors, and KONE colleagues (supervisors, fitters, quantity surveyors, planners, document controllers), ensuring smooth collaboration among all parties.

Typical Day:

  • Oversee and monitor the execution of installation projects.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Review project proposals to determine timelines, funding, procedures, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Establish work plans and staffing for each project phase.
  • Plan the delivery and storage of materials to the site(s).
  • Coordinate project team activities to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Lead and motivate the team to exceed customer expectations.

Success Factors:

  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex projects.
  • Preferably experience in the lift industry or in engineering/construction project management.
  • Experience managing projects at a site level within a commercial environment.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate complex projects.
