We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our Plymouth/Exeter team. You will be responsible for leading installation projects, managing teams on-site, ensuring delivery against programme targets, maintaining exceptional safety standards, and building strong customer relationships. This role is ideal for an experienced leader looking to progress within a global business recognised for innovation, sustainability and developing talent.
What will you be doing?
- Manage installation projects from planning through to completion
- Lead and support field teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery
- Oversee programme performance, budgets and resource allocation
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and company standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors and stakeholders
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation plans
- Support project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure successful project delivery
- Drive high performance and engagement within engineering teams
- Ensure projects achieve quality, safety and commercial objectives
- Identify development opportunities for team members and support capability growth
What are we looking for?
- Experience managing construction, engineering or installation projects
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience working within lifts, escalators, construction, M&E or similar engineering environments
- Knowledge of project planning and delivery
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Excellent communication and customer management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
