We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our Plymouth/Exeter team. You will be responsible for leading installation projects, managing teams on-site, ensuring delivery against programme targets, maintaining exceptional safety standards, and building strong customer relationships. This role is ideal for an experienced leader looking to progress within a global business recognised for innovation, sustainability and developing talent.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage installation projects from planning through to completion
  • Lead and support field teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery
  • Oversee programme performance, budgets and resource allocation
  • Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and company standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors and stakeholders
  • Monitor project risks and implement mitigation plans
  • Support project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure successful project delivery
  • Drive high performance and engagement within engineering teams
  • Ensure projects achieve quality, safety and commercial objectives
  • Identify development opportunities for team members and support capability growth

What are we looking for?

  • Experience managing construction, engineering or installation projects
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Experience working within lifts, escalators, construction, M&E or similar engineering environments
  • Knowledge of project planning and delivery
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Excellent communication and customer management skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
