As a National Accounts Project Manager, you will be the interface with all key Kone personnel who will be delivering the customer projects. You will coordinate with the internal Kone team and external customer representatives to support smooth execution of the works by the regional teams and hit the agreed schedules for the works. You will be in daily contact with our clients and your KONE colleagues (Construction Mangers, Project Managers, CSE, Key Account Managers and document controllers), keeping all parties working together smoothly.
What would a typical day look like?
You will be overseeing and monitoring the execution of the installation projects that are conducted for Key account customers, within Retail, Hotel and Leisure and Facility Manager sectors. You will be in direct contact with our clients and will be the central point of contact for their questions and concerns and escalations where applicable.
You will review project proposals, with the respective Kone representatives, to determine time frame for completion of works and provide detailed programmes, provided by the Construction Manager / Project Manager to help to track progress with the customers representatives.
In some scenarios there will be an expectation to lead additional extraordinary work projects such as LED lighting or Auto dialler works, with the respective service teams within the regions.
What will help you to succeed in this role?
- Strong Project Management skills
- You have preferably worked in the lift industry before. Project Management experience in engineering or construction industry would be considered as well.
- Demonstrated experience within a commercial environment, managing projects at a site level.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Planning and Analytical skills
- Strong organisation skills that allow you to coordinate complex projects
- Need to be proficient in Microsoft Packages, Microsoft project is desirable, Salesforce, SAP, CAFM systems (Customer portals)
