- Future Opportunities
- As an Escalator Engineer trainee, you could work alongside qualified engineers to:
- Support escalator servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Develop fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Complete inspections and minor repairs
- Follow KONE's safety and quality standards
- Build positive relationships with customers and site teams
- Complete training and assessments towards an NVQ Level 3 qualification
You may be an improver or part-qualified engineer with
- Practical mechanical, electrical or maintenance experience
- Relevant tools, technical knowledge and hands-on ability
- A safety-conscious and customer-focused approach
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- The motivation to achieve an NVQ Level 3 qualification
- Lift or escalator experience would be helpful, but relevant transferable experience will also be considered.
