As a global leader in the lift and escalator industry, KONE provides lifts, escalators and automatic doors, as well as solutions for maintenance and modernisation to add value to buildings throughout their life cycle.\\n\\nWe are now looking for a Service Field Trainer to join our Technical Help Desk team on a full-time basis covering the maintenance of our Major Project lifts based in the London & South East Region.\\n\\nService Field Trainer provides ongoing development of our maintenance field operatives, enhancing their competencies. You will plan and conduct new and existing KONE methods trainings, proactively preparing operatives for new products and services impacting methods, processes, and tools.

You will identify competence development needs (together with business and function stakeholders), develop and localize technical trainings. Service Field Trainers enable improvement in productivity by utilizing our digitalization and connectivity solutions and plays key role when building stronger local technical hubs.\\n\\nKey accountabilities at the role:\\n\\nTraining delivery and site activities\\n\\n * Train proactively and coach field operatives in the Training Centre and on site\\n\\n * Conduct onboarding and refresher training on KONE maintenance processes and procedures, ensuring high-quality standards (e.g. MBM, DMP, alarm phones, Rope Maintenance, repair works)\\n\\n * Provide training on the importance of connectivity and how to utilize the tools available.\\n\\n * Identify and trial new learning methods for training delivery.\\n\\n * Ensure that relevant changes in codes, methods, products and training materials are communicated to the Field operatives.\\n\\n * Onsite verification of competences (e.g.

for grading)\\n\\n * Maintenance Quality Audits, supporting supervisors in Technical Safety Audits\\n\\nTraining planning and recording\\n\\nParticipate in the training planning and local maintenance training catalogue creation.\\n\\nPlan and deliver and back report trainings (participants, results, materials) in Workday learning together with ASK HR\\n\\nLocalization of technical documents and training materials\\n\\nLocalize global instructions and training content to match the local needs (incl, proof-reading)\\n\\nNew Content creation (e.g. Service toolbox) and record/develop video content for consistent message.\\n\\nTake part in field reference groups and communities to gather and share information, liaise with THD to ensure experiences from the field are shared both ways.\\n\\nPromote the use of Technical Information sources and tools.\\n\\nCompetence development\\n\\nAnalyse competence gaps with supervisors and L&D based observations on site and using back reporting data from our systems.\\n\\nBe a role model for Service mindset.\\n\\nSafety and assessment\\n\\nBe a role model for safety.\\n\\nIs capable to observe incorrect working methods and able to act accordingly to remove the risk and stop work when required.\\n\\nObserve and evaluate correct methods for maintenance activities.\\n\\nOwn professional development\\n\\n * Innovation Monitoring: Keep track of third-party and new KONE products, developing and delivering Toolbox talks and training on maintaining new innovations.\\n\\n * Attend Train-the-Trainer courses on new products, solutions and methods organized by global/area functions.\\n\\n * Have up-to-date knowledge on new products, solutions and methods as well as safety risks and recent incidents on own knowledge area.\\n\\n * Develop own training skills and knowledge on new learning methods.\\n\\n * Maintain regular activity in the field to keep own knowledge and skills in a good level.\\n\\nQualifications and previous experience:\\n\\n * 5+ years of experience in lift service, maintenance, minor repairs\\n\\n * NVQ3 in Lift engineering or equivalent\\n\\n * Good technical understanding of product and service solutions and methods, knowledge of KONE and non-KONE equipment\\n\\n * Good digital and IT skills\\n\\n * Good communication and interpersonal skills\\n\\n * Willing to travel within the front line.\\n\\n * Willingness to learn.\\n\\n * Good written and spoken English.\\n\\n * UK driving license\\n\\nKONE provides a competitive salary and benefits;\\n\\nAnnual bonus up to 10%\\n\\nCompany car and a fuel card\\n\\n25 Days Holiday\\n\\n1 Volunteering Day\\n\\nCompany Pension Scheme\\n\\nEmployee Assistance Programme\\n\\nProlonged disability insurance (PDI)\\n\\nLife Assurance, Cycle to Work Scheme\\n\\nKONE Discounts and cashback platform\\n\\nService Awards for every 10 years of seniority\\n\\nGive As You Earn – which allows to make tax-efficient charity donations\\n\\nDigital GP which gives you around-the clock access to GP video consultations, Health Care ( a voluntary benefit that helps cover everyday health care expenses)\\n\\nHybrid Working.​\\n\\nPlease note: This role is not suitable for sponsorship
