Role Overview

KONE is seeking a Construction Manager – Heathrow . The Construction/Installation Manager is responsible for managing project scope, schedule, and budget, acting as the primary interface to customers and stakeholders, with a focus on customer satisfaction and KONE’s profitability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage lifts modernization and field replacement projects from sales/installation handover to completion and handover to maintenance.
2. Ensure successful project start-up, reviews, reporting, and facilitation.
3. Oversee site preparations, logistics, resources, and tools.
4. Lead and manage installation teams, including subcontractors, ensuring adequate resourcing and team motivation.
5. Maintain proactive communication with customers and manage stakeholder relationships.
6. Handle financial planning, forecasting, cash flow, and revenue management, including change order opportunities.
7. Promote safety and security awareness, ensuring compliance with KONE and customer policies.

Skills and Experience

• People management and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Experience in financial project planning and cost control.
• Lift industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; applications from engineering or construction sectors are welcome.
• Excellent health and safety knowledge.
• Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS card.
• Valid driving license.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
