Construction Manager to join our Lifts Installation team in the North East. The Construction / Installation Manager is accountable for managing the scope, schedule and budget of the assigned project(s). The Manager acts as the KONE interface to customers and other stakeholders during the project with primary focus on customer satisfaction and KONE profitability.
Key accountabilities at the role:
- Manage projects from sales/installation hand-over to completion at handover to customer and Maintenance.
- Responsible for successful project start-up, project reviews, project reporting and facilitating.
- Responsible for site preparations and readiness, storage and logistics, and needed resources and tools.
- Lead and manage the installation team, including subcontractors, plan and ensure sufficient project resourcing and competences, responsible for site operatives’ motivation.
- Accountable for proactively managing customer communication throughout the project, ensuring professional stakeholder management.
- Accountable for the project’s financial planning and forecasting, cash flow management and revenue management (capitalising on change order opportunities).
- Create and maintain safety and security awareness amongst employees and subcontractors in the project. Ensure following of KONE's and customer’s safety and security policies.
Skills and experience:
- People management / Leadership.
- Customer and Sub-contractor Relationship management.
- Financial project planning, cost control.
- Excellent health and safety knowledge is essential for this role.
- Driving Licence.
- Escalator experience is a plus but not mandatory – we are calling for applications from Engineering or Construction industries.
