We are currently looking for an Area Service Manager (Lifts) to lead a team of maintenance professionals who provide on-site customer service, and to plan and manage the field service operations in the area. This particular vacancy covers Central Birmingham and some outskirts. The role is an exciting opportunity for anyone in or outside of the lift industry – this individual will need to have excellent communication skills, management experience and will be managing our commercial clients with a high level of professionalism and dedication.
Key Responsibilities- Ensuring customer satisfaction through quality of service and precise communication
- Accountable for equipment safety and performance
- Accountable for resolving customer service quality complaints
- Accountable for solving and closing the open callouts and reacting in case of stopped equipment and/or safety issues
- Managing a reduction of call outs in this area
- Managerial experience in engineering/service business
- Excellent communication skills
- Financial management experience (P&L)
- Good IT skills including PowerPoint etc.
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills
- Strong Customer relationship management
