Customer Relationship Management

  • Responsible for customer satisfaction through the quality of service and regular, proactive, and meticulous communication (arrival time for call outs, tasks performed, etc.).
  • Responsible for accurate real-time reporting of completed work (at the equipment level) to ensure e-Optimum and customer notifications are functioning.
  • Responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with customers, contacts, and end-users present at the installation site by taking on the role of an Ambassador.
  • Responsible for the safety and performance of the equipment.
  • Responsible for managing the work environment during the execution of services.
  • Responsible for identifying workplace risks and communicating them to the supervisor.
  • Responsible for taking immediate action in the workplace when identifying a significant risk and applying the escalation procedure.
  • Responsible for identifying “unplanned” service repairs based on equipment needs, contacting the onsite contact person, obtaining their approval if not covered by the contract, and executing these repairs.

Service Operations

  • Responsible for the safety of end-users and the construction site.
  • Responsible for a safe working environment.
  • Responsible for safe working methods and performing work according to maintenance and safety regulations.
  • Responsible for executing service visits (scheduled maintenance, call outs, and service repairs), respecting the schedule and time constraints (call out), quality standards, allocated time, and processes.
  • Responsible for efficiently planning their workload in collaboration with the service department supervisor.
  • Responsible for forwarding sales leads to their supervisor.
  • Responsible for accurately and timely reporting of work performed according to procedures.
  • Responsible for submitting schedules based on work execution.
  • Responsible for managing available inventory (shelves, stock, inventory transfer, etc.), assessing the need for spare parts, and requesting spare parts from the supervisor.
  • Responsible for safely storing service tools, the van, instruments, etc., and keeping them in good condition.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of products, methods, and safety by providing feedback to the PCM organisation and the supervisor.

Leadership / People Management

  • Responsible for regularly updating their supervisor with all relevant information.
  • Responsible for being familiar with all aspects of lift and similar technology and attending proposed training.
  • May be asked by the supervisor to train and/or coach nominated individuals.
