Service Management

  • Ensures the safety of users and intervention sites.
  • Ensures a safe working environment.
  • Resolves complex technical issues that cannot be solved by maintenance technicians while adhering to applicable diagnostic procedures.
  • Conducts initial visits on unfamiliar KONE or competitor equipment.
  • Performs necessary assessments and assists the supervisor in transitioning from installation to maintenance.
  • Reports any identified technical issues on equipment that could lead to intervention requests or safety risks (and manages associated sales opportunities).
  • Actively identifies any gaps in technical skills related to new equipment in service (from KONE and competitors) and reports them to their supervisor/technical support.
  • Reports any repairs/adjustments that could reduce the number of intervention requests and actively communicates with specialists and clinical analysts as well as technical support.
  • Ensures the safety of work methods and proper execution of interventions, according to maintenance instructions and established safety guidelines.
  • Plans work in collaboration with the service manager.
  • Reports sales opportunities to their superior.
  • Submits accurate reports on work performed within set deadlines, in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Communicates time sheets related to interventions.
  • Manages local stock (entries, transfers, inventories, etc.) and the replenishment of parts, in collaboration with their superior.
  • Ensures proper maintenance of intervention equipment and vehicles.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of products, methods, and safety by sharing useful observations with the PCM department and their superior.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Aims to optimise customer satisfaction by ensuring the quality of services and establishing regular, proactive, and clear communication (work performed, etc.) on-site.
  • Records work performed (on equipment) in detailed reports, within prescribed deadlines, to ensure the accuracy of e-Optimum data and customer notifications.
  • Ensures excellence in the relationship between the company and its clients, contacts, and users by embodying KONE's values.
  • Ensures the safety and proper functioning of equipment.
  • Manages the intervention environment during maintenance operations.
  • Identifies risks associated with intervention sites and reports them to their supervisor.
  • Takes immediate action on-site if a major risk is identified and follows the information escalation procedure.
  • Identifies necessary 'unplanned' repair services based on the type of equipment, contacts the on-site intermediary for approval if services are not included in the contract, and proceeds with agreed repairs.

Staff Supervision/Management

  • Regularly communicates any useful information to their superior.
  • Masters all aspects of elevators and associated technologies and participates in training provided.
  • Trains maintenance technicians to identify the causes of detected problems and solutions to address them.
  • Ensures the dissemination of field communications, information on new maintenance technologies (ASG), and express information notes.
  • Trains/coaches individuals at the instruction of their superior (knowledge transfer).
  • Actively communicates with installation team commissioning managers.
