We are looking for a Baker who specialises in breads.
Responsibilities include:
- Weighing and measuring ingredients, using measuring cups and spoons.
- Mixing ingredients to form dough or batter by hand or using an electric mixer.
- Rolling and shaping dough, using a rolling pin, lamination, using a dough sheeter and cutting dough into uniform portions with a knife, divider, or cookie cutter.
- Moulding dough into desired shapes, placing dough in greased or floured pans, and trimming overlapping edges with a knife.
- Checking the production schedule to determine the variety and quantity of goods to bake.
- Spreading or sprinkling toppings on loaves or specialties and placing dough in the oven.
- Mixing ingredients to make pastries, and blending colours for icings, shaped ornaments, and statuaries.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in a related field.
- Good product knowledge.
- Able to work as a team with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
