Koncept Group is a growing manufacturer and installer of specialist fire doors. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Bench Joiner / Fire Door Manufacturer to join our workshop team in Carlton, Barnsley.
The Role
You will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality fire doors to specification, ensuring all work meets required standards and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture fire doors and associated products from technical drawings
- Measure, mark, cut, shape and assemble timber, laminates and composite materials
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
- Carry out finishing work to a high standard
- Ensure products meet quality and fire door compliance requirements
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bench Joiner, Workshop Joiner or Fire Door Manufacturer
- Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred
