We believe in promoting independence and helping our Members to lead fulfilling lives in the community. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of those we support.
Responsibilities
Work as part of a team, be a key worker and support colleagues to promote the independence of service users.
Support the manager in the daily running of the service and be IT literate.
Undertake staff supervisions and chair team meetings.
Provide 24-hour cover, 7 days a week; evenings and weekends may be required and sleep-ins may be needed (paid at £70.47 per night).
Requirements / Qualifications
Previous experience is essential; able to demonstrate a reliable and flexible approach to people with a learning disability.
Ideally hold an NVQ3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards it.
IT literate and ready to contribute to service delivery.
