About The Role: Komplex Care are now hiring for a Team Leader in the Devon area to provide leadership within the clients home, ensuring that the delivery of care is of high-quality. The Service Coordinator is responsible for the care delivered, demonstrating critical thinking and skills in the management of clients. You will work collaboratively with the team to meet the needs of clients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, leading, coaching and mentoring a small team.

Main Duties included in this role:

  • Supervise and lead a small team, Complex care assistants, providing supervision, role development and support.
  • Carry out performance reviews as and when required.
  • Undertake return to work interviews with staff following periods of sickness.
  • Convene, chair and minute staff meetings for each client staff group.
  • Work with the Komplex Nurses and contribute to the identification of training needs for all levels of staff and ensure training reflects developments in the area of care delivery and management.
  • Monitor staffing levels in each client package, requesting recruitment intervention as necessary.
  • Ensuring all shifts are covered in allocated packages, maintaining full responsibility for the safe coverage of care by appropriately skilled staff.

Specifications we are looking for:

  • Ability to drive, have the use of your own vehicle and flexible to travel.
  • Proven track record of working in a regulated care environment.
  • Experience of supporting clients with mental health difficulties.
  • Experience of providing care and support for clients with behaviour that can challenge.
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in care.
  • Understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. CQC fundamental standards, health and safety).
  • Excellent communication.
  • Competent in basic IT.
  • Commitment to providing and maintaining high standards of care and support.
  • Enthusiastic and positive.
