Shifts: Day shifts - 8:00am - 4:00pm | Night Shifts - 10:00pm - 8:00am

About the Role: As a Healthcare Assistant at Komplex Care, you'll be providing care and support to a young child living in Aldridge, requiring support both at school and at home. The family enjoys going on holiday and will need support during travel, including driving a mobility van.

Key Responsibilities:
- Medical Support: Assist with suctioning, PEG feeding, and medication administration.
- Health Monitoring: Support the child with epilepsy management and other health needs, responding appropriately to medical emergencies.
- Personal Care & Mobility: Assist with moving and handling and daily personal care routines.
- Educational Support: Support the child's learning, development, and engagement within the classroom environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, healthcare professionals, and family members to provide consistent, high-quality care.
Skills & Qualities Required:
- Experience in medical or complex care for children
- Knowledge of Tracheostomy
- Patience, empathy, and strong observational skills
- Ability to follow care plans and therapeutic programmes
