The Role
As an Area Sales Manager - Education, you will be the driving force for regional growth within the school segment. Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager for Education, you will lead front‑line sales activity, develop deep relationships with schools and education stakeholders, and position KOMPAN as the go‑to provider for outdoor play and learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver regional sales growth in line with national education strategy.
- Build strong consultative relationships with schools, MATs, nurseries, and local authorities.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to design consultation to contract close.
- Work closely with marketing and telesales to nurture and convert high‑quality leads.
- Conduct site visits, assess project needs, and provide expert guidance on product solutions.
- Collaborate with internal design and estimating teams to prepare compelling proposals.
- Maintain excellent CRM discipline, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline management.
- Represent KOMPAN at school events, exhibitions, and regional education forums.
- Act as an ambassador for KOMPAN’s mission to become the leading provider in the education sector.
About You
- Proven background in consultative field sales, ideally within education, construction, sports, or outdoor solutions.
- Strong relationship‑builder with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into high‑impact solutions.
- Self‑motivated, organised, and driven by achieving exceptional results.
- Comfortable managing a regional territory and travelling regularly.
