Kompact Solutions Group Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly organised Compliance / Administration Manager to join our growing team. This is a key senior administrative role supporting directors, office staff, and site operations within a fast-paced rail and construction environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of office administration, workforce compliance, Sentinel coordination, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration & Office Management
- General administration and support for office staff and directors
- Organising assignments and managing travel logistics
- Designing, reviewing, and improving office workflows and procedures
- Maintaining company folder structures and documentation
- Workforce & Compliance
- Enrolment and onboarding of employees and subcontractors
- Managing the Network Rail Sentinel Scheme and workforce sponsorship
- Maintaining operative databases and chasing compliance documentation
- Managing H&S compliance, RAMS, HAVS, daily logs, and close calls
- Identifying risks and assisting with mitigation measures
- Training & Development
- Identifying training needs for employees and subcontractors
- Coordinating training, development, and performance feedback
- Holding staff and supervisor meetings
- Project & Client Management
- Managing projects and workforce via WhatsApp, email, and telephone
- Updating shift calendars and subcontractor availability
- Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships
- Overseeing project lifecycles and supporting annual audits
- Additional Duties
- Fleet management
- Booking and managing workforce accommodation
- Allocating fines to operatives where applicable
- Uploading packs to operatives and clients
- Checking pre-starts and reporting to the Rail Manager
- Developing KPIs for office staff and site managers
Working Hours
- Office hours: 08:00 – 16:00
- Remote hours: 07:30 – 16:00
- Office-based 4 days per week during the initial training period (approx. 3 months)
- After training, hybrid working with a minimum of 2 office days per week
- Weekend work / overtime may be required occasionally
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £30,000 - 37,000 per annum
- Holiday: 31 days per year
- Fuel card provided for commute
- Overtime: Paid or accrued as time in lieu (case by case)
