The Role
We’re looking for a Content Writer to help define and deliver KOMI’s editorial voice across owned channels. This role sits at the heart of our brand storytelling – shaping how we speak to creators, brands, and the wider creator economy. You’ll work closely with marketing, design, founders, creators, and partners to produce content that feels credible, current, and human.
What You’ll Do
- Editorial & Brand Storytelling
- Own and evolve KOMI’s tone of voice across social, blog/editorial, email, and campaign content
- Write sharp, culturally fluent copy that balances clarity, credibility, and personality
- Help develop longer‑form editorial pieces, interviews, and thought‑leadership content
- Create social content that builds community and conversation
- Shape narratives that make creators and marketers feel “seen”
- Spot moments, themes, and cultural signals worth responding to
- Conduct interviews with creators, founders, marketers, and cultural voices
- Help source and develop stories from within the KOMI ecosystem
- Leverage (or build) a relevant network across creators, media, and culture
- Write confidently across a wide range of industries and creator verticals
- Adapt tone and framing depending on audience – from emerging creators to senior marketers
- Bring strong awareness of internet culture, subcultures, and evolving online language
- Collaborate closely with designers to ensure copy and visuals feel aligned
- Contribute opinions on how content should feel, not just what it says
What We’re Looking For
- Strong editorial or creative copywriting background
- Experience writing for, working with, or adjacent to publications, media brands, or cultural platforms
- Comfortable interviewing people and shaping conversations into compelling stories
- Deep understanding of internet culture, creators, and how communities form online
- Ability to flex across tone, category, and audience without losing clarity
- Strong point of view on good content – and the confidence to express it
- Experience collaborating closely with designers and creative teams
Nice to Have
- Existing network across creators, media, or culture
- Familiarity with the creator economy, influencer marketing, or digital platforms
- Bonus: creator / influencer experience yourself
