The Talent Scout Manager is responsible for discovering, evaluating, and initiating relationships with emerging and established social media influencers who align with our brand's values and strategic goals. This role focuses on identifying promising Talent and facilitating their signing to our roster, handing over management responsibilities to the internal Talent Management team once signed.
You'll be the first point of contact for potential Talent - spotting upcoming Creators before they break through, building rapport, and helping bring them into the fold for long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Research & Discovery: Identify up-and-coming influencers across key platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) who have high growth potential and strong audience engagement.
- Talent Evaluation: Assess creator fit based on brand alignment, audience demographics, content quality, engagement metrics, and growth trajectory.
- Outreach & Relationship Building: Initiate contact with potential influencers and communicate the value of joining our talent network or management roster.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a steady pipeline of vetted prospects and provide detailed insights to the Talent Management team for follow-up.
- Market Monitoring: Stay ahead of trends, new social platforms, and viral moments to spot emerging creators early.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Talent Managers to understand their needs and ensure smooth handover of new signings.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on scouting activity, outreach performance, and influencer landscape insights.
- Proven experience in influencer scouting, talent acquisition, or similar roles within the creator economy or entertainment industry, especially within Beauty, Fashion, Family, and Food.
- Excellent communication and networking skills - confident in outreach and building relationships.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for discovering new talent.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, influencer culture, and digital marketing.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate engagement metrics and audience data.
- Experience with influencer databases, CRM systems, or social listening tools is a plus.
