The Role
We require an Assistant Content Producer to help play a pivotal support role within our team to bring original content ideas to life. We are looking for hungry, fresh talent who love social media and think they have what it takes to give our audiences what they want. You will learn all the skills to be a member of KOMI Studios - full training will be provided to self shoot the content yourself, using mainly iPhones. You will be immersed in all areas of pre production including scheduling, logistics, location and talent scouting, negotiating costs, budgeting, prop sourcing and creating call sheets for all attendees and crew for shoots, and will learn how to get the best performance out of our talent on the day. Over time, you’ll also have the opportunity to be trained to become a Content Producer on set, co-producing and co-owning your own shoots. We are in it for the long haul and want someone to be invested in the journey, and our training programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre Production: Helping support the producers in all shoot preparation, including call sheets, risk assessments, locations and talent are sourced, budgets are kept under control, and PPMs are attended and all the crew are aligned before shoots.
- Production & Shooting: Ability to self-shoot content on iPhone and on camera, ensuring great composition, lighting, and audio, training to be provided to ensure you are fully equipped and trained to work all equipment.
- Post Production: Organised and timely footage download ensuring assets are clearly labelled, organised and delivered to the edit team within agreed timescales. This ensures the edit stage runs smooth, quality control checks to ensure standards are met.
