The Role
Do you live and breathe social media and have an interest in the field of digital copyright protection? Come work with the best in the business at KOMI Group, one of the world's leading social media and licensing agencies. Social creators, media outlets and publishers rely on KOMI Group's licensing division ‘ARK by KOMI’ to find engaging social stories and content daily. This role will sit within our Archive and Rights Management Team to process, protect and monetise viral video content in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is passionate about admin tasks and organisation, social media and trending online content. You will be responsible for the processing and publishing of content that is submitted to our library, in addition to reaching out to video owners in order to license their footage. The successful candidate will be eager to learn about the world of social media content and the internal technologies that power our operation. In this role, you'll be trained on the definition of video licensing and learn our processes for finding and verifying viral video content from all major social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and rights clearing video submissions.
- Keeping ARK by KOMI's digital content archive in peak condition by organising and managing all assets in the backend.
- Responsible for internalising and publishing content for our website and clients.
- Writing copy and short articles for video content.
- Working to deadlines and setting targets.
- Accurately tracking data and content on database.
- Understanding media law and licensing jargon and interpreting it to video owners.
- Basic video editing.
What We Are Looking For
- A natural communicator comfortable in dealing with video owners.
- Incredible organisational skills and brilliant attention to detail.
- Great understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, etc.
- Excellent computer skills including basic knowledge of spreadsheets and CRM systems.
- Preferred: Media law and video licensing knowledge, excel spreadsheet competency.
